Now before I go any farther let me say that this day was the hottest of the year and walking the paths at the zoo are a long way. So I was very impressed that we were able to get around as much as we did with out too much complaining. We did take advantage of the shuttle and we stopped at every spray mister we could find.
I think that the only animals who weren't too upset by the heat were the elephants and the ostrich:
The lemurs seemed to be okay too I think the best part of the day while at the zoo was flying the helicopter...
Of course the best part of the day from the vote we took the next day was riding in the air conditioned bus while watching Over the Hedge and The Incredibles. Oh well, at least Over the Hedge was about animals...
